RE: Songwriter Marlee Davis; Sonic Records Release
PIERCETON,
INDIANA: Hurt Music Productions, of Pierceton, Indiana has signed a record deal
with Sonic Records, Inc. of North Carolina, to release two of their songs
written by West Virginia songwriter, Marlee Davis.
Country
artist Donna Goodhart recently recorded and released "Two Left Feet" and "Who's
That Platinum Blonde" on her debut album MUSIC FROM THE HEART. Two more of
Marlees songs from other publishers are on the same CD. They include "Baby Give
Up" and "I Look For You.
Marlee has
proven herself to be a very versatile writer, and has written songs on many
subjects, with many co-writers. Several of her co-written songs have been used
by Hurt Music Productions. One in particular has received much airplay around
the world. "Busy Doin' Nothin" which is about the everyday hectic life of the
working woman was co-written with Joyce Whalen and Vance Greek. It has been
recorded by both male and female artists and has become very popular from both
points of view.
Jack Hurt
from Hurt Music Productions has signed writers that have previously written hits
for Elvis, Paul McCartney, Alabama, Beach Boys and many more. He is very
pleased to have Marlee there in the ranks of those writers.
