I ran across a couple of Marlee's songs when contacting a Nashville studio.
I liked them so much and decided to record them. Marlee's song writing ability
is so good that I plan to record more of her songs on my next album. We then
"met" on the Internet, and eventually we became friends and have had several
telephone conversations. Marlee wrote my album cover song which is called
"PARTY OF TWO". I chose that song for the cover to demonstrate how two nations
from opposite sides of the world can come together and become the best of
friends, all with because of the love of music. The album cover has two flags,
one Australian and one American. It symbolizes our friendship and respect for
each other. When I received Marlee's songs, I performed them in front of an
audience of about 250 people. It was an amazing feeling to receive a standing
ovation at the end. I knew then, that Marlee's songs hit the heart strings.
She is more than ju! st another writer. I'm looking forward to a long
relationship with her that will last forever.

I have been doing country music shows on radio in Denmark since November
1984, and have come to know many great people. Most of what I play is
independent artists and labels.
In 1998 I received a CD on an artist named Doreen. A good album filled with good
songs. My favorite tune there became immediately Till the river dries Up, an
up-tempo Cajun influensed song. I didn't really at that moment pay attention to
the songwriter. Not until I received an email from Marlee, where she thanked me
for playing her song. After a couple emails we became friends and I could tell
Marlee was very serious about her songwriting. I then went and checked her Demo
Song Shop website to find out what she had created. I learned very fast that she
is a very gifted songwriter and working hard to continuously have a good variety
and amount of songs any recording artist can chose from. There is no doubt in my
mind, that Marlee is a great talent and a sweet person. This has been confirmed
more than once from people in the business I have met, and who also know her.

working with Marlee Davis for a number of years now. She is such a talented
writer! We have recorded a number of her songs and currently have one, "Gypsy
Blues", in production. Marlee has a gift from God. The ability to put into
words and music thoughts and visual presentations. Her songs inspire and she is
truly a joy for us here at Sonic to work with.
We were introduced to Marlee about two years ago, when we were putting
together material for our debut CD. As it turned out, we listened to a demo
titled, "The Bottom Line". It had a tradional, laid back, George Strait
country feel. We immediately fell in love with the song. It became the title
track of the CD and the song itself was extremely successful for us in
Australia. The song "The Bottom Line' was at #1 on the Ison Radio
Network in Australia for 14 weeks! Thanks Marlee and when it comes

I've been blessed with the good fortune to be a music publisher for Marlee
Davis. You talk about the Queen of this and the Queen of that; well Marlee's a
very special Queen unto herself. She's a beautiful person inside and out and
well versed in her knowledge of Country & Western music. She's an extremely
talented songwriter with a compassion for her many friends and co-writers. Her

diversification of her song catalog. She has many songs that I feel could be hit
songs if they had a chance to be exposed to the public. Not only is she a

Marlee Davis is not only a dedicated hard worker with a gift for lyrics, but
she is an unselfish, warm heart with her hand always out for others. My hope

Marlee Davis - amazingly talented songwriter and wonderful caring woman.
How does a songwriter from Martinsburg West Virginia become a big part of the
life of a 15 year old country singer just starting out from London Ontario
Canada ? Through the internet - that is how we met this talented woman just over
a year ago.
Marlee hit Jennifer Marino's site and listened to the very first songs recorded
by this young singer. Hearing the voice Marlee decided to send us a cd of her
songs and Jenn instantly fell in love with them. Marlee's delightful song " Two
Left Feet " - about a boy that cant dance and the smooth " Baby Give Up" have
become crowd favorites everywhere Jenn has been performing across south western

I met Marlee through a music publisher (Mr Jack Hurt) I had several songs
placed with Jack and was looking for some great demo artist just to have
different voices on some of my songs, Jack said Marlee who had some songs
placed with him also always mailed a great song and demo and gave me
Marlee's email address (thanks Jack)
Jack was right as I contacted Marlee and we exchanged some demo tape of
songs each had written, Marlee is a fantastic writer and just needs to get
her songs to the right person at the right time, as we all know that is
very hard to do, but we always keep on trying.
Marlee and I have become great friends, she is always ready to help you
out with tips, ideas and courage to keep on writing even when you get down
as all of us writers do sometimes.
We sure could use more great people like Marlee in the music business, for
thats what makes music so fantastic and touches so man hearts.
